I need a laptop under $600-$650(around Php 30 000) and I'm also confused whether to get a desktop(at that budget I could get some budget gaming/editing pc) rather than a laptop but I really need some portability since I'm soon going to college too.

Uses of the new computer will be video editing, light gaming(moba and fps).

Help. ;_;

Build a rig, 650 dollars isn't going to get you much for a college laptop.

Or save up even more cash and don't rush :D

Yup exactly!

Just get yourself a well-rounded mini-ITX build. Then just use the cheapest kb+mouse and a portable monitor. You'll have a beastly tower rig, with a portability of a laptop.

If so, can you recommend a mini-ITX/micro ATX build for me since I suck at researching and this is my first time I'm gonna buy computer/computer parts, and if possible a laptop recommendation for my needs. Although I have knowledge in computers, I definitely need your advice(s) because my knowledge alone is not enough.

Actually, after realising the stock Intel heatsink would fit in the SG05, you could do this:

CPU: Intel Core i3-4170 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($99.99 @ Micro Center)
Motherboard: ASRock B85M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($67.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($68.00 @ Amazon)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 380 4GB PCS+ Video Card  ($183.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Silverstone SG05BB-LITE Mini ITX Desktop Case  ($37.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $599.82

Or the build above also, but that would be slightly large (mITX smaller than uATX)
