Did you connect the power supply properly? Is the CPU cooler installed?

So I just bought a z97 and an I7 4790. Tried setting it up but now when I hit power button pc comes on for 3 seconds (screen stays blank) then switches off and restarts this process. Someone please help

Psu or ram tend to cause issues like this, so check you psu connections and switch your ram around as @Oshino Shinobu said.

Well I checked power connections as well as changing ram slot and all is working now! Thanks forum <3

No problem, it's what the forum's here for. It can often be one little thing you miss that can cause so many problems, like front panel connectors xD
