the only few stuff that can be fiture proof is psu. get a nice one and no need to worry about it for few years. For yours, throw it away asap.

yea i would suggest getting that replace ASAP

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

EVGA, CM, Seasonic (XFX as well), and Corsair make great PSUs.
