Im building ancomputer for my grandpa and i need to know if i can use 4 connections of the 8 pin header to power the cpu safely, because thats the only connection the psu has

Are you sure that the PSU doesn't have two separate 4+4 connectors somewhere?

yes i am sure

Just use one side of the connector. and make sure the shapes of the pins line up correctly (The plastic shape).

my bad :P the connector slid apart into two fours

*Round of applause* Enjoy the build!! Just don't forget to plug the HDMI cable into the USB port for the first boot. That's how you get to the advanced BIOS. ;P
