Several games have built in benchmarks (GTAV, Metro Last Light, Shadow or Mordor to name a few)

There is also the excellent Unigine heaven and valley benchmarks along with 3d mark.

Cinebench, Valley and 3DMark

[Atmos]

Firestrike, unigine heaven/valley, 3dmark, furmark, and kombustor have all shown me love when benchmarking different hardware for clients.
