GTX 960m/GTX 960 desktop vs desktop GTX 770 2gb

melias24

Hey guys, just wondering if the gtx 960m, would be on par or better than my gtx 770 2gb? I kinda want a laptop, but if not what would the 960 desktop be like compared to the 770 2gb? I want to play bf4 at ultra and GTA 5 on high with the filters on at least 4x settings.  Also what other gpus are there to consider? What about the r9 380? that's the only other GPU in my budget.

The 960m is roughly equivalent to the 950 I believe.

The 770 is slightly better than the 960 in the majority of cases. The R9 380 is about 15% better than the 960 in most games atm.

Sig under construction.

960m is a decent card, it will get you 4200 in firestrike or thereabouts, you might be able to stretch that a bit with an OC...
