I have Creative EP-830s that I've had for several years and they still work fine although I may not be the best person to ask because I tend to be super careful with everything electronic I own.

This. I have them and the cord is well made and if you damage it the cord it's removable from each earbud.

my meelec have been pretty durable. my m6's had a little better cable than my cc51p's, but both survived my work for a decent amount of time.

if you keep replacing them you might want to look into a brand with a lifetime warranty like koss.

they won't sound as good as the higher end shure's or senn's but if they keep breaking you won't be out too much.

Will work for electronic components and parts

Just want to say that I also had troubles with breaking everyone of my earbuds but then I started using the Sony Ericsson Walkman ones (they came bundled with my SE W850i) and it didn't break for like 3 years now :)

How are you breaking them? Do they drop from your ear? if so, you might want a spots earbuds

usually cord.

V-Moda makes their headphone cables with Kevlar, but I dunno about their earbuds - maybe check them out?

thanks.

Now that I'm home at my PC, their most expensive ($120) ear bud option has a kevlar cable: http://v-moda.com/true-blood-revamp/

Edit: all their earbuds have Kevlar reinforced cables! ^_^
