I bought a TP-Link TL-WR841ND and thought that I would be able to port forward as my old router doesn't support it.

But then I realised even though I followed all the steps from portforward.com , I wans't able to port forward.

Does this mean that my ISP blocks port forwarding?

Im from Malaysia..... Wooooo!!! The land where 1 USD is 4.33 MYR...

PCPartPicker wont do for me...  :(

here's where I do my searching for stuff (Local Market and prices are in MYR): Lelong.my

Are you trying to use a server? Your ISP might detect it's a server and block it.

I was trying to host a game of Terraria...... I guess that counts as a server?

Put even the FTP port 80 can't be port forwarded.......

Is the port forwarding successful from the router's perspective?

wow not even port 80. Can you screenshot the portforwarding on your own router ? Block any other information like IP addresses.

Looks like this:

Can other devices on your network see your computer through FTP?

Okay, so first make sure UPnP is enabled.

Also make sure your computer has a static IP address.

Than by virtual servers:

Add new

Configure the ports 80

Set the IP address.

Click save.

After 5 minutes restart your router/modem. Dont reset it!

So all the configurations are saved and loaded. Should work now.

Are you connecting through your LAN IP or ISP? Connecting from outside requires your ISP IP, not your local LAN IP.

In the Image you've shown, enter your LAN IP of the device, then you connect, enter your ISP's IP address. E.G: http://122.13.33.1 <-- ISP

put the router into DMZ mode and test the connection

if it doesn't work..then your isp is blocking you
