Im looking for something with Gigabit LAN Ethernet and any added benefits towards game streaming would be great.

Desktop: CPU: I7-5820K GPU: 980Ti, 750Ti PhysX Mobo: MSI X99A SLI PLUS RAM: 4x4 Kingston DDR4 2400MHz OS: Win10
Storage: 250GB Samsung Evo, 3TB WD Black and Green FIRESTRIKE, Reason for dedicated PhysX Card.

Peripherals: Screen: 3x BenQ VZ2350 Mouse: Razer Naga Keyboard: Some Dell Thing Sound: Razer Tiamat, 5.1 Logitech Surround Speakers

I'd stick with Netgear. See if there is any modern router from them for the same price with higher speeds.

I am using a crappy Netgear ISP modem/router atm only able to do 100MB LAN speed and want faster LAN speeds and stuff so though of buying a new cheapish router and couple Cat6 cables

there modems with routers built in

this is probably one of the best one on there

unfortuantly you can't flash it with any 3rd party firmware

would probably go with that one
