 I can get a free 5:4 1280x1024 monitor and hook it up via DVI-D as a 2ndary screen. Worth it? I'm thinking I might.

:o I use a 1280x1024 monitor as my secondary. Works fine for forumns, and having twitch/youtube on it in the background or simply watching a tutorial.

As someone who used 1776x1000 and 1366x768 at the same time, that's not an issue.

I've run three different monitors at different resolutions before and run three with two different resolutions right now with no issues. Windows handles multiple resolutions pretty well.

none that i can see as long as youre not trying to game on both at the same time or something stupid like that lol

It was a selectable resolution on my TV from my laptop via HDMI. As arbitrary as it sounds, it worked.

Question - what happens with games that don't have borderless window as an option?

 you can chose which monitor to display the game on in most games that ive seen

that should happen when playing in full screen(non windowed) mode
