Most, if not all, components have their model numbers on them, either on the PCB itself or on stickers on the PCB

How can you find the exact model number of the computer hardware you have? I don't have the box but I know what all the parts are.

As in you have a Dell/HP/Acer pre build PC and you want to find out what specific pre build it is? Or you want to know all parts?

If the first: check CPU Z, GPU Z and all that stuff and see what CPU and GPu you have and on the pre built PC site you might be able to find the PC..

If the latter: do the same, check everything and you might be able to figure out what each part is (stuff like motherboard and case may be proprietary/made specifically for those pre built PC's)

You have a section under 'Hardware and sounds' in Windows Control Panel, in which you can see some more info on what components you have.

Do you not have the parts list anymore though?
