750 Ti, GTX 950s are good choices

if your budget is around 100$ there's a could 370s for 120$ that you could nab. Those are by far the best for that price, and if you're going to go any higher than that, then the 380 is where you should go, very solid performing card for just about 200%

Pretty much what others have said:

GTX 750Ti for ~120 dollars. , R9 380 for a~200.  Given the caliber of the card you just killed, you could also consider an EVGA B-Stock GTX 750 for 90 dollars.  I'd personally put down the extra 30 for the 750Ti, but if you need to save the money is an option.  By the way don't try to overclock a B-Stock cards, they're often ones that EVGA had issues overclocking for their premium offerings.  So plug it in and leave it be.

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/470715-overclocking-broke-my-gpu/?p=6311827 Do you happen to live in the USA? I might be able to fix your card.

Thermi man - increasing voltage likely fried the VRMs...

As long as the VRMs didnt send a surge into the chip itself, I dont see any reason why I couldnt repair it.

Because it started smelling like yesterday's burnt dinner?

I have repaired my asrock z77 extreme4 which had a component catch fire due to a shorted OEM dvi cable, an HD 6950 which was water and corrosion damaged, I have repaired countless monitors, repaired USB sockets on phones and tablets, hell I repaired my 30 year old car amp where one of the PSU mosfets literally vaporized and brought a section of the board with it. All of the mentioned devices are still rocking on today.

Prolly the most powerful card you could get with that budget is a 280x, they can go sub 200 on newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150678&cm_re=280x-_-14-150-678-_-Product

The 380 is a good choice, i don't think i would buy the 4 gig model tho, since i find it unnecesary considering what the GPU can handle

If you wanna go Nvidia, a 960 is a solid choice as well. Again, i personally wouldn't get a 4 gig version
