i'm doing html and i cant get a image to show up, theres not even a broken image sign

What code do you have now?

You should have something like this:

It would be nice to know the browser and image type.

shouldn't matter so long as the code is valid.

is the image in a folder called images ? if so the path to it should be : images/whateverthefilenameis.format
