yep, you're fine with OCing. Tho I'd look into a 4690K since the Pentium is crappy in games that need more than 2 threads :/

i know there are better out there, but the 212 is just a staple and is known quite well so i do still recommend for lower end CPUs

Cryorig products are not as readily available in some areas compared to Cooler Master. The 212 is everywhere, the H7 is not.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

Like I said some areas it's not as ubiquitous. Here in Canada neither NCIX nor Canada Computer carry Cryorig products. But both carry the full line of Cooler Master coolers.

And honestly if I have the choice of walking into a store and picking up a 212 for $30 vs ordering a similar cooler for the same price plus shipping it's pretty obvious. I'd get the 212.

I'm just pointing out that not everywhere is the US. That is why the 212 is always recommended, because it's carried almost everywhere.

Doesn't Newegg sell them?

Not unless you want to pay import and shipping through the nose. Newegg.ca does not carry Cryorig.

Can't you use their will-call service and not pay for shipping?

I haven't been on Newegg in like a year, I used NCIX for my parts and I got the THOR from a trusted friend.

No idea. Never liked buying from Newegg personally, often more expensive unless you can price match.

I stick with NCIX for most of my parts or use Canada Computers if I'm desperate. I don't have a Memory Express in my area so those two are my only local options.
