Problem Posting Pictures

So i saw how you could upload images on a topic and i don't

know how i can get the url of an image.

I know you can get it if you go on google images and right click and select "Copy Image url"

but this is a picture that i made with PS. so.. how can i get the picture on the topic.

Without having to click a link to see the image in the forum.

Save the image locally, and then when you post, go into "more post options" and upload the photo

 

Or post it on like imgur or whatever and paste the link onto the forum using the "image" button on the reply box

ok thanks man, i have a problem, lol

 

every once in a wail now i can`t put any postings in certain topics and yet other areas i`m good this has been off and on for just over a week now and i have no clue why its happening

or im getting delayed reactions for example opening up to go to post my nick name and password i hit enter and nothing happens then after about 3 min i have down size my page then reopen it and then wait and hit enter and then it works ..i`m having delay time zones not sure what that is..??

You should post here http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/314049-bugs-issues/ or PM some mod about that kind of issues. Note that some areas like Linus' Ramblings and Forum News & Info are locked from normal users. Also threads that are locked can't be posted on.

As for linking images, you need to use image tags or button to get them into posts. And have url end with image extension like .jpg, .gif or .png. Otherwise forums software doesn't regocnize them as images.
