Did you already buy the H60i ? if you haven't please consider going with an NZXT Havik 140mm which will give significantly better cooling performance for a slightly lower price point.
As for the bottlenecking question, we cant really answer that question because we do not know how much CPU overhead would a 9970 or a 9950 require to run at its fullest potential.
It also depends largely on the game in question.

If you already have the chip yes it is fine but if you are planning a new build go for a 4670k so you aren't a generation behind.

denied i play 64 player maps on my 7850 all the time no issues with it stable 60fps all the way

I have my 3570k @ 4.5, stable, fast. Im using a CM Seidon 120M to cool it. Very happy with it and will probably have it for awhile, not impressed with Haswell.

it wont be bottlenecked at all? the lanes that are offered for card speeds are the EXACT same as Haswell. upgrading CPU's makes no sense if bottlenecking is a concern

even the 2500k is still great, people are just retarded and try to boost the latest generation as much as they can because they wasted the money and want to feel better about that fact by creating an illusion that it is so much better than the previous generation.

 

To be fairly honest the GPU makes much more of a difference than the cpu anyway. there are people still gaming on core 2 quad processors that keep up to the latest processors maybe falling behind 2-5 fps average, but it's within the margin of error anyway. You are fine as most games don't even utilize all 4 cores yet you might even see an improvement in performance on newer titles.

 

for metro 2033 and metro last light though I would suggest the 8350 end of story.
