God dammit the thing about you is that you say that you will not be playing 1080p, and then you say you have a 1080p monitor, then you say you will not be using it then you say you will..

Please make up your mind and tell us which resolutions you will be playing at and which games you will be playing.

Crossfire ready.

He said he was playing in 1080p, so monitor not needed. Also his birthday is close to the 9970 launch so its probably a better idea to get that over the 780. Also why did you write crossfire ready when you listed a 780, isnt that sli? Also your ram is not availible at best buy.

I edited it and decided to put in a 780/1440p display since his budget allowed it. I forgot to edit the rest of the post. I fixed it now.

This was the original plan: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1thUM

Seems alot more reasonable. I mean just because you have a big budget, does not mean that you have to spend it all. Also gratz on 6000 posts, and  look at my other post, i edited something new in.

Thanks for the gratz and the heads up on the ram. :)

Fixed my links.

It's a shame. They were sleek looking and cheap sticks of ram too.

4770k and GTX 780 (or a 9000 series AMD card, wait for them to release, around your birthday) is fine, no need to spend $2500 on a gaming pc..

No need for a 4770k just for gaming.

Games are getting better optimized for HT, so its fine. More future proof.

The small bump in gaming performance from HT is not worth the extra money.
