Hello, this is going to be my first gaming PC build. I have games like DayZ, Arma (2 and 3) and CS:GO that I can hardly play due to poor fps. Therefore, I am looking for a PC that will give me good performance on Arma and DayZ as CS:GO is easy to run (obviously).

My build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/xMatty/saved/#view=PTjD4D

I have just got a few questions about the build.

Is it all compatible?

Is it worth the money?

What FPS would I be expecting on the games I mentioned before?

Thanks!

Seems fine, but you may want to get a r9 390 sense it does edge out the 970 in some games.

looks pretty good. check out benchmarks for those games with a GTX970.

follow your topic.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

I though you could only do that with copies of w8 that were acquired before the updates were available.

Can't you just download Windows 10 for free when having an older Windows?

You can :P
