windows 10 game rendering issues

so i recent purchased a windows 10 laptop (MSI Apache Pro i7 6700HQ / GTX 970M) and gaming was exelant on it until recently, when whenever i launched a game, character models and most other object fail to render.i still can interact with the environment, but i cannot see what im interacting with. this issue spans accross all the games i have currently downloaded (The witcher 3, metro last light). i have already tried updating drivers and windows itself with no luck. please help

Is it happening in ALL games, I mean all not just 2-3

Well it could be a driver issue as you originally thought, or a hdd issue, are the games on an ssd or hdd, as sometimes hdds can load slow causing things to not be rendered, as for drivers try 353.62 as it still seems to be the most stable. If neither of these things are the issue it could be the 970m itself messing up or your os doing something strange to your driver software.

only two are installed at this point, so, all the games

its on an HDD but its not just a few objects loading slow, no objects render at all, just the terrain. and im running 358.whatever the newest one is, so ill try 353.62. and it was working fine a few hours before.

so, it turns out to be a harddrive issue, so im replacing it with an ssd .
