Would you rather have Battlefield 4 running on the new consoles at:

-720p ultra high settings (60fps, this has been confirmed)

-1080p low-medium settings (60fps)

 

Right now I've heard rumors that it's going to be 720p (maybe the consoles aren't even powerful enough for 1080p medium-low)

 

What do you guys think?

I think 1080 would still look the same or better than 720, even with lower quality settings. So I'd go 1080p

play it on pc. 

buut! i'd rather play at 720p. ps3 on 720p on my HDTV doesn't look that bad.

upscaled that is.

not that it matters to us pc guys but 1080p low-medium settings because battlefield maps are really big and the extra clarity boost with 1080p will make it easier to see people that are far away

1080p i think this is the wrong forum to get the 720p answer lol, pretty much everyone is a pc enthusiast or really keen for graphics and expensive things :3

As long as it's 60fps, doesn't matter to me what settings its on. but i think I like 1080p more so, 1080p.

The xbone is rumoured to have somewhere around a 7850/7870 right? 

 

After reading a few benches, the 7850 only gets around 55 fps @ high settings, so I'm assuming it may be able to lock it at 60 in low settings, but who knows I guess.

I won't be getting a console anyway. I have one of the older xbox 360's but I haven't turned it on in nearly a year now but I can't bring myself to sell it.

I replaced the fans with green LED ones and put in a couple of green LED strips that glow out of the vents.

Wait, You're telling me the new consoles cant run BF4 at 1080p on ultra? What the hell are the new consoles even for then!?!?!?!

Well the old ones couldn't even run BF3 (which is graphically less intensive) at 30fps (compared to 60fps now) at low settings on 720p. It was 576p :p

 

But yeah, if you're a fan of the battlefield series, I think PC really is the way to go.
