Fan blow direction

Go to solution Solved by zzenigmaxzz,

you want air coming in from the front and bottom (provided its not on carpet) and out through the back and the top. you want more coming in that going out so you have positive pressure to help control dust and you want to filter your in takes

one of the things that will help you most will be a better heat sink, stock amd heat sinks are poo, spend like 25 bucks and get a hyper 212 evo and you will see a big difference in temps

I have a really crappy pc case, which holds 4 120 mm fans. The locations of these fans are 2 on the top, above the mobo, one in the back top, and one in the bottom front. I'm wondering about the best directions for the fans to be blowing, as I'm experiencing heat issues right now.

Alright, thanks guys. When I put the fans in, my intent was to have the top 2 and front ones in, with the back exhaust, but me, being an idiot, couldn't find the direction that the fans blew in. So now it's opposite of what everyone says should be right lol. And I will be buying a new cpu cooler now, thanks for the suggestion. Any recommendations for a good one for around $25?
