500GB SSD Recommendations

I've been looking in to picking up a 500GB SSD for my laptop since it's been performing really slowly with its old hard disk. 

 

Has anyone had any experience with the Adata SP550 line? NCIX has a $185 deal on the 480GB model right now, and I might pick it up. I also wanted to see if anyone on the forum had alternate suggestions for an SSD at around $200 CAD. I was previously looking at the Crucial BX100, but if the Adata one is relatively on par, I'd go with that since it's cheaper.

 

If possible ones that are available from NCIX since I have a $50 gift card to use.

I have used Adata for years. They have been solid for me.
