I have to use the cable to connect to my pc to make it work on my nvidia gpu but on my amd system it finds the controller but i cant use it in-game.

maybe your dongle doesn't recognize xinput devices?

I guess i could try to install a xinput mapper and see if it can detect the controller.

It's bluetooth iirc so yes

it says right on their website it uses Wifi Direct not bluetooth

 

so its looking for a Ge-force experience server running on the network. so if you just have geforce experience running then it might work?
