Look at the bench marks, but iirc the i5 will beat the 8320 pretty well.

Overall your going to get a decent performance increase over your current CPU. Plus the fact of once you OC too then yes, it definitely helps.

The 4690K is a great CPU, I love mine. Bit temperamental but you get used to it. I've met some games that really made it sweat but haven't run into anything I could run on ultra with my 290 as a GPU. I even ran the Battlefront beta.

I am being told every day that intel goes better with nvidia, i am just not fan of nvidia, i pretty much love radeon cards for no reason, finnaly someone with intel+radeon. how they perform together?

Friggen sweet! LOL All the issues I've had have run back to my Motherboard choice, not the GPU or CPU. I play Armored Warfare a lot and I constantly hear chatter about frame rate issues but I actually have to cap mine. I was running 159fps in it and Mechwarrior Online. My CPU load in Armored is 80% at the highest and I never miss a frame. Probably should have waited a month and gone Skylake and 390 but I'm too worried since other than my &^%$%&%&%$%&$$%^&^^ motherboard causing issues I'm really happy with the combo.

I use an i5-4690K with an R9 280X and they work well just fine, haven't had any issues. Can run stuff like BF4 and Battlefront at Ultra with SSAO at 60 fps and not break 60C.

 

If you already own an FX 8320 there isn't really any reason to try to alter to a different processor. I have friends running the FX series of processors and they perform perfectly fine and don't bottleneck the accompanying gfx card.

If you are gonna upgrade go for Skylake both AM3+(dead 2016) and 1150(dead now) is being phased out...

 

Personally if your board is great try to OC it to 4.5 also the FX can handle a 280X just fine!
