Why are so many people going with the H100I these day's? We have seen that the H220 is much, much better in real world testing, so why are people still getting the H100I? The H220 isn't all that much more expensive compared to the H100I and is becoming more available.

H220 isn't available in the US right now. (last time I checked)

I literally got my H220 one day before the whole court thing went down.

Pre-order from newegg, it's how I got mine.

Yeah you probably got it before the whole fiasco went down. No one in the US is selling the H220 but it's available world wide I think.

because of availability and it's not the best but it's still more than enough for overclocking any CPU and getting great temps.

H220 is quite a bit more expensive actually. 

Corsair is popular--that's why. the H100i also has pretty good case compatibility.

There was no court ruling. Swiftech knew they infringed on the patent and pulled the product when they received the cease and desist letter.
