try simply creating another user account. is it still there?

I'm updating right now, if that doesn't work then I'll try this next, and then re-installing.

But yeah, reinstall.  I guarantee that will be much faster than trying to troubleshoot

Would refreshing fix it?

To be perfectly honest, I'm not entirely sure what that does.  I think it's close to a reinstall but I don't know.  It would be easiest and fastest to just reinstall.  That's what I would do without a second thought if I had this happen to me

Updating fixed it.

nice. Sometimes things break, and letting the updater update can fix them. Good to know you didnt have to reinstall. I am on my fourth install.
