Finally , last build conformation .

Mukessh

Hey guys . After months of planning , this is finally what I came up with :

Core i7 - 4770k

GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H

G.Skill Sniper 8GB

Rosewill HIVE 750

Leadtek GTX 760

NZXT Switch 810

This rig will be watercooled by the end of the year , that's why I went with a Reference GTX 760 and also with the S810 , amazing watercooling support . Will also do SLI that's why I went with a 750W PSU . Anyone got any other suggestions ?

Wait for 9000 series, it should be here around end of September - October time.

When it comes out , it'll be expensive . So I'll wait and see if the price goes down or not .

Yup wai for 9xxx series

I would go for a better PSU ie: one from Corsair or Seasonic. I would downgrade the 4770K to a 4670K or maybe even a 8350.

Why would you do that ?

This PSU received a Guru3D Award .

Because they all perform the same in games and for cheaper.

I wouldn't go for Rosewill I don't know why but it just doesn't tick for me. But then again it should have been fairly decent model to have received the award.

No, it just has Hyperthreading which you only benefit from in editing

770/7970 I would go with something from corsair, seasonic, XFX and 650 should be enough if you aren't planning on crossfire/SLI down the road. If you are planning on SLI/Crossfire 750 should be enough.

Those GPUs are well over my budget. Would you recommend to get a better psu or get an ssd?

The Rosewill Hive is a pretty decent psu. I see no problem in using one.

Definitely get an ssd.

What's your budget?

Why 760? You might as well get a 780 if you're going to water cool. Water cooling is not very value oriented.
