Well this morning my pc wasn't turning on. Well actually it would, but would freeze in bios for ETERNITY. After about 4-5 minutes it would post beep, but nothing would happen. Then I "intelligently" went to reset cmos. I kinda forgot you need to disconnect power and connections. It started on right after I shorted it. I didn't think any of this at the time. The same thing still happened... so I did it about 6 more times. Needless to say, I might need a new motherboard. Should I RMA since it wasn't working in the first place?

I'm not sure 'you' did anythign that would break anything. Unplug it, hit the power switch, reset the CMOS, ???, profits? I've had a similar problem and a wire was shorting to ground. Motherboard was fine.
