NEED help immediately!

So I've just finished my pc build, only thing left is to do cable management. So I went to do a test boot and all of the LED's and fans start spinning but when I turn on my monitor nothing gets displayed! What should I do? Is my pc broken? This is my first build so I have not idea what to do

Specs? Have you connected the monitor to the graphics card, or is it plugged into the board's I/O? It should be plugged into the card.

What is your PC specs? But going off what you have said, have you plugged your display lead into GPU or your motherboard? If you have a GPU have you plugged the power (PCIE leads) in? If not we need more information on your pc

I've plugged it directly into the Mobo io because my monitor does not support hdmi. There is an adapter that was included with my GFX card though so I will try that

It worked guys, thanks for mentioning that it needed to go into my GFX card and not my Mobo io. Got the splash info! Hype!
