Windows 10 still not ready?

Go to solution Solved by GoodBytes,

It says that my PC is set up to log in automatically. After upgrade i may have issues logging in

How do i fix this then?

That is your problem. Remove auto login.

Type in the start menu search bar: NetPlwiz, and select the result you get.

A panel will show. On that panel, Check the box "User must enter a user name and password to use this computer".

Click on OK, and restart your system.

Now once you log back in (assuming you didn't forget your password ;) ), wait several minutes, and look at the 'Get Windows 10' app again, and see what it says. :)

Since windows 10 has been out for quite sometime now i feel the need to upgrade from my windows 8.1 64bit to windows 10.

However the notification (as follows)

post-121155-0-42608100-1444443497.png

Is still there.

How could i get my windows 10 then?
And would i need to wipe my C drive when upgrading to 10?

Use the notify option, it might trigger something.

I just used the upgrade option, which keeps all your docs, programs, etc.

If you want to upgrade google "Windows 10 Media Creation Tool" and you'll find a direct download via MS to download and install MSX. :)

Would that wipe my C drive? and how is windows 10 now?

I'll decide again on whether to upgrade...

keep in mind you will probably wanna do a clean install after the upgrade..so I would only start it if you have the time to do the upgrade..then the clean install

But why not upgrade?

Thanks! How is windows 10 at it's current state?

Is windows 10 worth the upgrade now?
