I'm trying to install win 7, but all my dvd will do is to recover.

It goes from win logo to the recovery option, regardless of which hard drive I have in.

And the stange thing is that it worked fine yesterday.

Is there a way to force the dvd to install or something along those lines?

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

You'll need to download Windows 7 ISO, if you have a spare usb that hat 4gb or more and make it into a bootable USB.

Program to make your USB Bootable.

Yeah, that's probably a recovery disk. If you bought a prebuilt or a laptop you won't get a proper install disk anymore. Also note that it'll be an OEM, so if you're trying to install it on anything other than the system it was first installed on you're outta luck.

EDIT:

If you have the key and it's not an OEM or you're trying to re-install it on the system it was first installed on, what Abdul said is the solution. You should be able to find an .iso somewhere quite easily.

Huh, that's strange. If you can source another PC to work on, the USB drive thing will most likely still help you (make sure to use 2.0).

Also, can you confirm the HDDs work properly maybe?
