Hi

Can't get my rig setup properly

I have the folowing

MSI X99A Godlike gaming Mother board

32 GB DDR4 Kingston Predator memory 8x 4GB chips

Msi 980 ti 6gb DDR5 2way sli

6 Core i7 5930K intel socket 2011

Thermaltake Water 3.0 360mm radiator 3x 120mm fans

OCZ Revo drive 3 SSD (pci-E) 1500 mb/s

Thermaltake 1200w psu

Samsung U28D590D Monitor

Thermaltake T81 Case

Razer Deathstalker Ultimate Key Board

Razer Ouroboros Mouse

Windows 8.1

CPU Runs at 67 degrees while gaming (all fans are stock fans) its a bit hot. If I open the case its goes down to 61

BF4

@ 3840 x 2160 4K resolution and all settings on ULTRA the gameplay is stuttering and if I take settings to HIGH it still stutters but not as bad then to Meduim but still stuttering. I changed to the Razer Ouroboros Mouse but still stutters, Do I need a Fibre internet line? am I not setting up everything properly?

I went to Invidia Control panel and I enabled the SLI but still no luck

Internet connection or the Samsung 4k monitor?

I have spent a lot of money on something that is not performing the way it should or the way I expected. Bios update ? Extra tweaking?  I played better with my old 1080p built to be honest

67c for a cpu is fine.

turn down the settings, update drivers maybe?

ultra settings at 4k has no point.... medium will do.

This. @JohannL, first off welcome to the forum.

Second thing, do a couple of tests on Speedtest.net and post your results here. For all we know it could be your internet connection that's causing you stuttering. You may also want to use a program like MSI Afterburner to look at your GPU temps and usage and power usage etcetera. And something for monitoring framerates.

If you are experiencing stuttering at a high frame rate then you may be experiencing microstuttering which is a side-effect of multi-GPU configurations.

Sig under construction.

BF4 has been garbage lately, I get stuttering on my 1440p with SLI 970. Try a different game maybe? All of my friends have this problem too. I think their servers are messed up, and NVIDIA drivers have been shit lately too.
