Problem With SSD

For some reason when i installed my OS (window 10) onto my SSD all was fine but when i went to change my boot preference from my HDD to my SSD it wont allow me to boots it said it has some kind of driver error but when i boot using my HHD the problem is fixed. The speed of my boot is very quick and i have checked the OS is installed on my SSD but when i went to disk managment i found out one of HHD partition had 'System tag" under it by any chance is there a way to fix this? Because later at end of this year im going to move my OS like save ISO image onto my USB and boot to install it on my new m.2 but i worry it wont boot when i do.

You need to disconnect all drives when you install onto an SSD boot drive or windows will install the bootmgr onto the HDD.

Hey there MrUnknownEMC,

 

As the guys explained, it is strongly suggested that you have only the boot drive when you install the OS as the installer might put part of the OS or its system reserved or recovery partition on other drives and thus cause problems like these. You should unplug all drives besides your boot one and reinstall the OS. This should fix your problem.

Do try to boot your computer with only the OS drive installed before proceeding with the reinstallation process and see if the computer boots at all.
