Only thing I would change is the case because of personal preference. Everything else looks great.

Get an evo 212 cooler. and an SSD if possible.

thats max buidget for now so should i upgrade in future or swap something out? also gonna be used for gaming

Looks good, but id throw a cheap ssd in there (240gb sandisk ultra for example)

and maybe get a 2tb drive since its only a bit more for 2x the storage.

If thats max budged its good and gaming performance optimized

you can always get a cheap ssd on black friday or as a present.

Not really much point in the cooler with a locked CPU and H81 board. Even if he had the money to spare, it's better spent in other places. (like an SSD, as you mentioned)

Well, considering youre running stock cooler on the CPU, id go for a refrence card as to not overheat your CPU.

Acutally getting an aftermarket cooler might be a good idea if he intends to run an aftermarket card.
