Intended Use: My "Dream" and "Ultimate" PC. This PC will be used for everyday tasks, video editing, recording games, streaming, and of course gaming (Main use). And I would be loving to game at max settings in every game, if possible.

Performance I'm looking for: Max Settings in games (Excluding AA?) Higher FPS the better, would love to have >60FPS and no less. Will be gaming in 1440p. Monitor will either be a 34'' 3440x1440p 100hz or 27'' 2560x1440p 165hz.

Budget: Not positive. Not including monitors, $2500-$4000 (Prices vary, so not sure what my maximum budget is exactly yet) I will not be purchasing anything online, except the GPU(s) if I had to, I will be going to my local Fry's or Microcenter and Price match.

---------------------------------------------------

I was hoping to get a brand new 980TI Hybrid Edition.. Or maybe even SLI it, if I really wanted to.
Though a couple questions about that..I never ever had a SLI Config. nor do I know anything about it or surround gaming!

The only thing I mainly know is that I won't have "Full" power of both cards, if I understand correctly. I currently play on a 1080p 27'' TV Screen. (I know..a TV, yes). And I have a second monitor (Some older samsung monitor) that is just my secondary screen, a 19'' 1280x1024.

I wanted to get an actual monitor, since I hear so much about them, compared to a TV Screen.
As far as what the GPUs would need to power, I was thinking I'd either get:

*Acer Predator X34 34'' 3440x1440p 100hz IPS G-sync
*Asus PG279Q 27'' 2560x1440p 165hz IPS G-sync

Now to my main question...I'm assuming a single 980TI could handle this monitor, at any game at mostly max settings? Would you recommend Dual 980TI's? (Want to get the best settings possible, at the maximum screen resolution)
I have considered gaming across 3 monitors, but in the end, and from what I have heard from others, they would recommend an ultrawide compared to that.

--------------------------------------------------

Storage Devices, will be taken from my other PC, so no new ones are needed.

------------------------------------------------

As far as a motherboard goes, I still have not picked one. Not sure what I would choose. Or what would be the best option for what I have/want. Also brings up, I was possibly maybe torn between the 6700k or 5930k. Unless there is an even better option.

---------------------------------------------

As far as a case goes, same story. Not sure which case would fit everything perfect, with enough room to see everything neat and tidy inside. Size isn't an issue as much, as I have room for a case.

Cases I have looked at so far, but just a little enough that peaked my interest were:
*Corsair Air 540
*Corsair 760T
*Corsair 900D (Though looks huge if i dont custom loop?)

Haven't look into cases much yet, since I felt I can do that last.
Though I want something that isn't just a plain flat box, something that looks nice, designs, etc..and a big window. For example, my current Raidmax Aeolus case has some nice designs and a small window.

--------------------------------------------

As far as CPU Cooling goes, I don't really want to do a custom loop for fear I would screw something up on my end. So I personally would like to stick with the ABSOLUTE BEST POSSIBLE AIO Cooler. I have heard a lot of good things about the company that I mentioned above for the cooler, not sure if what I have heard is right though.

Any recommendations, please feel free to say!

--------------------------------------------

Any help is appreciated..
Any tips are appreciated!
Literally anything at all, even setup wise! Help a fellow gamer out!
This is my current setup, if it means anything to you guys.

CPU: i5-3570K @4.10GHz
RAM: Corsair XMS 3 16gb 1600Mhz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Edition
MOBO: Asus P8Z77-V LE PLUS
Power Supply: Corsair TX650M
COOLING: Antec Kuhler h2o 620
STORAGE: Western Digital WD Black 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
Western Digital WD Black 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD

--------------------------------------------------------

What do you guys think of the build? Anything you would change or recommend? I did not select a storage device, because I will be using the ones in my current PC.

Even if someone can just help with one part of anything, I would greatly appreciate it. I apologize if this was long, or hard to read. Thank you in advance! And hopefully I provided enough info.

Sometimes i wonder what People think

You buy a highend CPU and 2 of the fastest Graphicscards with an ridiculous amount of DDR4.

Thats pretty much as fast as it gets in Case of Gaming Rigs...

Do you realy want an answer to those Questions?

5820K is 'STILL' the best bang for your buck not skylake, unless you really want that +15% more than 5820k. Single 980Ti should handle the 32" 144hz maxed, go for SLI if your games support it. You should still consider an 120gb SSD at least for your OS, and maybe another 256gb for most games you play. And have HDD use on the rest for mass storage. You like cube cases, 540 isn't bad choice but you may want to plan where to put two 120mm radiators on top of the EKWB 360 if you're wanting to pickup 2 980Ti hybrids. You may want to pick the 760T.

I am not in the slightest trying to play dumb or show off if that's what you think haha...

I honestly have some questions that I am not sure about. Obviously, it WILL be able to run games fantastic. While I never go above my 16gb of ram currently, I do host TS Servers, game servers and have other programs open while gaming which all add up. Also Samsung Rapid mode also takes up some ram. So I like to have extra ram and not have to worry if I choose to expand my servers to more friends, etc..

Though back to the point, I thought I asked some actual questions? Not raging, or trying anything at all here. Just a bit confused, and dont want you to think I'm "one" of those people you are "thinking" of lol.

Well, i have 1440p 144hz and ~ 100fps in AA Games maxout (not GTA5, thats about 50-60) with 1 980Ti.

If you want go with the X34, you should SLI. This PC will run anything without problems.

Overall build is good ... i would get cheaper CPU cooler ... for time being if you just looking to cool your CPU...  personally if the 360 could expand but the tubing would look shit on your build if you care about the looks but the option is pretty good choice. You can look at x99 build because im doing a similar build like yours because after you place 2 980ti you wont able to add any addon cards like sound cloud/pcei ssd down the track. I would get one monitor and one GPU now and you could go over x99 and you could SLI down the track because one 980ti can handle 3 surround 2x1080p and one 1440p.

A 240-250gb SSD is enough for OS/Application and some games because currently i have 240 ocz and i have window 10, abobe suite, autodesk programs and common games installed and im only using 50% but this depend on your use but still 240 is best for you money and you could have 2-4tb Blacks HHD or HGST which is cheaper should be your choice. You can keep your SSD or you could get same one and go raid 0 to increase the performance and this could be done the same for you HHD.

The air 540 should suit you if you dont want to expand to custom loops so this mean you shouldn't get EK 360 because right now is really overpriced and you could get same by getting x61 or swifttech 240 if you want to upgrade to custom loop down the track.

Thank you for that input, I will for sure check out the x61 and Swifttech Coolers. Lower temps the better, and if it doesn't cost as much, even better!

As far as switching to x99 for SLI, at most I'd sli the two TI's and nothing more, so I'm assuming it wouldn't be a huge issue either way I went mobo/cpu wise for that if I understand that correctly.
