Apple is really liking their designs for iOS 7 as they appear to be changing other services in almost the same way.

Ya, I understand making some changes but making every aspect of the phone bright and colorful is a little odd.

Yes the colors are more radiant, but as long as it has the same functionality why even care? It's just a GUI update.

 

They can use it to their advantage to make everything more "polished" by making it look as if everything is supposed to work together by implementing the same GUI across all of their services. So in reality all they did is make seem more integrated, which should make consumers happy, as they expect similar interfaces across multiple services from the same company.

Why not making themes and letting the user choose what they like? Oh that's right, sorry, I forgot it was Apple.
