If you install your OS on it, you will see a noticeable improvement in boot up times.

If you were using an HDD before, after an SSD you should see noticeable differences in boot up speeds and performance.

Before: Slow boot times, games load slow, programs open slow

After: Faster boot times, games load faster (If installed on SSD), programs open faster (Again, if installed on SSD)

From changing between a slow ass 5400 rpm laptop HDD to a 850 Evo I noticed my boot times go from 1 to 2 minutes all the way down to under 7 seconds xD quite noticeable.

I load in CS:GO matches before anybody I get to play with bots for about 10 seconds xD

Also you will hear less noise and much less vibration in your computer.

I have my hdd only as a tertiary drive on my computer so it basically never runs, but I can tell the difference when it does.

File access delays.... GONE. (Huge boost for 1000's of tiny files shuffling around in real time, eg: Windows doing its background operations)

Huge boost to system responsiveness when you open something, it opens instantly, not seeking for data THEN loading, its just ...doubleclick and pretty much instantly finished.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
