I have recently played sniper elite 3 without any problems. However, today it started to crash on startup. I finally found the culprit. It was fraps. However, is there a way to fix this? I really like fraps thought it sucks to have it crasah your games.

Any other good fps monitoring programs?

Thanks.

OP

Shadowplay would be the way to go, and if otherwise, MSI's built in Default codecs (but you could/should tweak for HQ) can manage until you find better.

But with a Nvidia card (as per your SIG), Shadowplay is the best bet.

MSI/OBS/DXtory can do lossless codec input if you desire higher quality (still have to DL those codecs, recommend googling UTlossless), but its more taxing that Shadowplay, none of those, however..will not crash your games, less hardhitting than fraps.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
