So I am a young new computer lover and my friends and I are building computers with the money that we earned over our lives. We are going to buy components to build 5 computers with a 3000$ budget (600$ per computer) my friends have watched Linus' videos to study so we know what to do. We have trouble figuring out the platform issue with compatible RAM CPU And motherboard. So I was wondering if I could get suggestions for a ram cpu motherboard package that are on the same platform , and still have enough money for a graphics card, case, and power supply.

Firstly which currency? (I'm going to assume USD for now though)

they rarely come in a "package"

but RAM will almost certainly be 8GB of DDR3, get whatever frequency (MHz) is avaliable (1600 or 1866 most likely)

Aftermarket 980Ti >= Fury X >= Reference 980Ti > Fury > 980 > 390X > 390 >= 970 380X > 380 >= 960 > 950 >= 370 > 750Ti = 360

"The Orange Box" || CPU: i5 4690k || RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury 16GB || Case: Aerocool DS200 (Orange) || Cooler: Cryorig R1 Ultimate || Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 240GB + WD Black 1TB || PSU: Corsair RM750 || Mobo: ASUS Z97-A || GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW+

EDIT: This is based on the assumption you're using them for gaming.

EDIT 2: Also, you may be better off going with a single 8GB stick with that board, so you have the option to move to 16GB if needed.
