So I am trying to pick a laptop for work, and have came down to two options: Microsoft Surface Pro 3 vs. Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. Both the specs both have their advantages I think, and I've only had experience with the surface pro before. So I'm in a tight spot, please help me out...

If I get the Surface pro, I think I'll get the 4th gen i5 running Win 10. This model comes with 125 GB of storage, 4GB RAM, and the cpu's base frequency is 1.9 GHz. It weights 0.8 kg. With the accessory keyboard and a 3-years protection plan, it costs about $1114.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro has the Intel® Core™ M-70 processor which has a base frequency of 1.1 GHz, 8GB RAM, 512GB storage (SSD), weights 1.19 kg, and runs Win 8.1. It costs about $1778 with the 3-years protection plan.

Personally win 10, but I'm also pretty sure I can get the yoga pro with win 10 instead of 8.1. I've heard some terrible things about the surface pro 3, but I have also never heard of anything about the yoga pro 3 because nobody uses it. Budget is not a problem, but please help me @@

Yoga. The Core m should be on par, the keyboard and touchpad are much better and the RAM is absolutely crucial. 4GB of RAM in 2015... only on a secondary or tertiary machine.

Don't worry at all about Windows 10, as with all Windows 8.1 the yoga will allow you to upgrade to 10 with basically zero effort. It's really seamless, actually reminded me of the Linux upgrage process.
