Choosing Headphones

Hey! 

 

I am looking at buying some headphones to replace my (not so great sounding) Razer kraken Pro's, I have been told to look at the Beyerdynamic DT 990's I have looked at reviews ect and really like the headphones. A lot of people here will recommend Sennheiser just wait, I'm sure someone will recommend them

They are very different, so you can't really compare them in bang for buck

Those are simply different versions with changes in the impedance of the driver. If you don't know what that means or how it affects things, you don't need to know - just get the cheaper one. It is also important to note that the "Pro" model is also essentially the same thing and usually much cheaper.
