My laptop makes a short beeping noise when i move it about 

it is a macbook pro 13 inch 2010 version

if your too lazy to look at specs i think it is because of the HDD that it has its making that noise

oh god i went to the apple store about a year ago and they did this and they plugged their ethernet cord in the genius bar to my computer because i wanted mac 10.8 back and it installed 10.8 back

if it did scratch your disk its only the start of the problem, as the scratch can make the head jump causing it to crash into the disk making another cut and so and so on
