I have noticed a considerable amount of noise coming from the HDD bay in my case caused by the vibration of the HDD.  Does anyone know of any solutions to this problem?  Any "around the house" solutions?

Make sure the hard drives are secure

Mount hard drives with rubber grommets

Mount cage with rubber grommets

imo the best solution is to mount them in 5.25" bays with elastic.

You can try to fit bit's of rubber/cardboard at the sides or underneath the actual hdd. Rubber washer's would most likely make the most sense and should absorb quite a lot of the noise generated.
