Hi guys. Currently I am using an IBM M2 keyboard. Recently the left keys (tab, caps lock, l shift and l Ctrl) sometimes stop responding for brief moments of time. I was wondering if anyone could help me with what MX Cherry switches would suit me most because I have used this keyboard for nearly 2 years now.

Thanks

cherry switches most likely wont give you the same feel as buckling springs.

but theres plenty of options. even outside of just cherry theres a lot to be found.

is there anything you think I could look more into before ordering anything?

if theres a shop near you that has keyboards on display, go there.

fondle the different keyboards, sense how they feel, the ones you like, the ones you dont.

some may be a bit too soft, others may be too hard, some may be too loud, others may be too quiet.

thats meant to sound suggestive. because its fun, and because picking peripherals is a lot like picking a significant other.

also because insert barnacules' "ladies" here :P
