So I recently went from the Windows 10 Insider Preview to Windows 10 Pro because Microsoft told me to. My printer, a Dell V305w, would print on the Insider Preview but since upgrading to the full Pro version my printer has decided it does not want to communicate with my laptop. I receive a message telling me that the printer cannot communicate with the computer and when I troubleshoot it, it says that the USB 3 ports may be the issue despite the face that I have successfully used this computer to print with that printer on the Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 Insider Preview. I tried all the regular stuff with drivers and turning things on and off and no dice. I was hoping someone here might have some helpful input before I reinstall the Windows 10 Insider Preview in hopes that it still works.

Edit: My printer just flat-out hates me so I've been reduced to converting everything to JPEGs because my printer will print those from an external media device. FML.

If you can, I'd just hook the printer up to cloud print. That's what I did at home so now I can print from anywhere and any device, where I can log into google.
