So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

That was great. Man I love Heroes so much. First season was absolutely the most amazing thing I have seen on TV ever. I have probably seen episodes 1 & 20 (as they were my favorites) about 40 times each.

I had a love/hate relationship with this show while it was airing. Season 1 was fantastic, no question there. Season 2 was very underwhelming, and the new side characters introduced were bland imo. Season 3 recovered and gained a feeling of its own, while at the same time introducing the problem that the writers had no idea what to do with Claire. It also made a pretty big mistake when they killed off one of the better heroes, because they brought him back in Season 4. On that note, Season 4 only had a few decent character stories going for it, and left things off with a cliffhanger, too many strings untied, and was the point where the show got canceled.

 

I just want to know what Sylar ended up doing after Season 4. He was my favorite throughout the show.

You have to look beyond the series itself and you will find out that they got problem in the backstage... This series was so amazing but they discontinued it anyway. It would probably be continued to this day if those decisions back then weren't made... They had to do a cliffhanger, what else could they do if they had to cut off works ASAP?  :(

Oh yes, I'm well aware of the problems that were occuring backstage during the show's lifetime. The writer's strike definitely didn't help anything. And they really didn't have to do a cliffhanger, especially one that was so big. Plus, the cliffhanger in itself highlighted the show's tendency to repeat the same stories. I'm sure NBC knew they were going to cancel the show after the 4th season, so why not write a final season that wraps up things nicely? Heck, the Claire story arc was completely unnecessary fodder and the time wasted there could've been used better for other characters, again in my opinion.
