Depends if the GPU is bandwidth starved (such as the 960) or if it has an abundance of it (like the Fury)

Somewhat, it helps more with visual asset loading not fps per say unless your main gpu overclock causes a memory bottleneck in which case it helps a lot

And I can get 8gb on the memory but do I need to do it ?

Yes, but just very slightly. You'll get a few extra fps, at most.

Just do a bench with an increase vs normal and see if it matters it very well could matter significantly due to the capabilities of the cards

Obviously my memory is a lot faster than 8000 mhz, but it still gives you an idea of the FPS that can be gained.
