SSD Cloning Stuck

My Sony EVO 850 SSD (That I just purchased) is currently having issues cloning. It keeps getting stuck at 6% and then the cloning software becomes unresponsive. The first time this happened it said something could not be found and that it might not be able to complete the clone. It then stopped the clone. Now, it just gets stuck at 6%.

 

Any suggestions to resolve this issue would be great.

 

6% for me falls within the first 10,000 mbs.

step 1) dont clone to an ssd

step 2) do a clean install of windows

step 3) connect your old drive and drag the files to your new SSD

step 4) format your old drive and put the files back (unless you want to leave some on the SSD)

step 5) reinstall all your programs on the SSD

step 6) no more issues

Cloning a HDD to an SSD is not a wise decision
