Control the fan speed on Gigabyte and MSI motherboards like you can on Asus motherboards?

For MSI mobos, you can set different steps for the fans, so they hit X Temp they go to Y RPM%

 

I'm not too sure if it's a gradual transition from one setting to the next though :/

On the Gigabyte you can have separate curves on the CPU fan and CPU OPT. Along with the other posts.

Have a look at Speedfan. It takes a little getting used to and configuration but it is a cool piece of software.
