3770K 4.5Ghz Overclock

Gamer

Sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum, but I needed a couple opinions..

I've built my latest rig 4 days ago and have just overclocked my 3770K to 4.5Ghz with 1.23 vcore (First time overclocking). After about an hour of prime 95 I'm sitting at mid to high 50s (degrees C) with occasional 60 spikes. However when it started it was in the same range, then about 20 minutes in, I had mid to high 60s touching 70 but now it's down to said temperatures. I'm using the noctua NH-D14 and used the pea method for the thermal paste. If you can tell me if this is a good overclock and if the temperature changes I've been getting are to be expected? Thanks in advance!

Oh good, I wasn't sure if it was running hot for the overclock! Is it looking like this chip is a good overclocker? Or is it about average?

Looks fine, the rated max temp, I believe is about 105 degrees c and about 1.5 volts is when you can start to do permanent damage.

If only my 4770K could achieve that, so far its at 4.4ghz at 1.315V and hitting 75C
